Renault SA is rated by five credit rating agencies (CRAs):

• three International CRAs: Moody's, Standard & Poor’s, Fitch
• two Japanese: R&I et JCR      

In February 2009, following the Group's full year results, Moody's agency downgraded Renault's debt notation to Ba1, stable outlook.

In March 2009, Fitch downgraded its notation to BB, outlook negative.

In March 2009, R&I downgraded its long-term rating to BBB+, stable outlook.

In September 2009, JCR downgraded its notation to BBB+, stable outlook.

In February 2010, Standard & Poor's maintained its long-term notation to BB, stable outlook.
